Transient increase of Tc and Jc in superconducting/metallic heterostructures

Abstract The presence of a metallic layer can influence the properties high-temperature superconductors underneath. We investigate structures deposited in form nanoparticles or continuous layers by electron beam evaporation ion sputtering on Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) thin films. To generally avoid diffusion metal atoms an additional barrier is introduced. Detailed measurements magnetic moment superconductor as function temperature and field have been performed using SQUID magnetometry. It found that modification superconducting coated YBCO strongly depends deposition method top rather than type (Ni Ag), its (ferromagnetic paramagnetic) morphology (nanoparticles film). main result transient increase critical Tc current density Jc was observed for samples prepared evaporation.
